Mission

The mission of the Hualapai Tribal Forestry & Wildland Fire Management program is to promote personnel through experience and education understanding the disciplines of Forestry & Wildland Fire Management while adapting traditional knowledge to sustain natural resources for the Hualapai people.

  • Forest Development layout, reforestation, cone collection, greenhouse
    • Forest Health Protection
  • Timber wood products (fuelwood sales), portable mill – custom cuts, salvage
    • Woodland Enterprise – fuel wood cutting contracts
  • Wildland Fire Management provides wildland fire suppression, “fire use”, and hazardous fuels reduction (thinning & prescribed burning)
