About Us

Mission Statement

“Provide a high level of service to the citizens of the Hualapai Tribe by humanely enforcing the Hualapai Nation Law and Order Ordinances as they pertain to domestic animals and the public’s health, safety and welfare.”

 “Strive toward the reduction and prevention of animal related problems in the community through public education, the warning/citation system, and the impoundment of domestic animals with the commitment of Public Safety to the People of the Tall Pines.”

When calling the Police Dispatch Center, explain to the dispatcher of the animal problem you are having. Explain to the dispatcher the location of the animal problem, a brief description of the animal (Breed, Color, and any significant information such as color of collar) Give the Dispatcher your call back number.

 

Understanding animal emergencies may occur at any hour, it is important to report any animal problem to the Dispatch Center. Afterhours, Law Enforcement will have an Officer assigned to your animal problem and will be followed up. Field Enforcement Hours of Operation is generally seven days a week (excluding Holidays) between the hours of 7am to 5pm.

ACCED is a Public Safety Department dedicated to the health and safety of the Hualapai Nation. Our Personnel provide the Hualapai Tribal Community with Enforcement of the Hualapai Law and Order Ordinance of Animal Control. As a Public Safety Department, our personnel also provides assistance to Law Enforcement for Traffic Control, Crowd Control, Search an Rescue operations for special events or emergencies that occur, in addition our Department works closely with Hualapai Emergency Services and Indian Health Services along with other Public Safety Departments in the safety and wellbeing of the Hualapai Tribal Community.
