The Hualapai Department of Education Program
- implements and provides financial assistance for enrolled tribal members who are pursuing a degree in their respective field of study
- does not fully defray the entire cost of attending a post secondary institution requiring the student and parents to bare some of the financial responsibility
- is composed of 10 members appointed by the Hualapai Tribal Council and they are responsible for the approval of all applications [PDF-1MB]
SERVICES
The Higher Education Program primarily provides assistance to students in the following areas:
- School search and information retrieval
- Financial aid counseling, and application process scholarship search
- Financial assistance based on determined need
- College and university application completion
- Course advising
